Former primary school headteacher Nick Williams has travelled the world taking beautiful wildlife photography and presenting shows to schools & adult groups for over 30 years.

Mongolian Family

You can travel for hours across the grasslands of Mongolia without seeing another person, but if there was water then there was usually a family or families living nearby, and we often relied on them for our water supply. The man on the left was our driver and we couldn’t pronounce his name, so we called him Ghengis.

Mongolian Horses

There are more horses in Mongolia than there are people.  All nomadic families own horses and use them for their milk, meat and for racing although we often came across small herds that didn’t appear to belong to anyone.

This Golden Eagle was sillhouetted against a white sky as she flew around above her nest in the wilds of Mongolia. The beautiful sky was also in Mongolia and the two were brought together via photoshop !
